Clinical Guidelines



We have been involved in the development of a number of guidelines on low back pain.
Kim Burton was a member of a working group of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Clinical Audit Programme to produce clinical guidelines for acute low back pain.
He was a member of the working group of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine that developed occupational health guidelines for managing back pain at work.
He was a member of the management committee for the European guidelines for management of back pain, and chaired the sub-group responsible for developing guidelines for Prevention in Low back Pain.
